This pendant is inspired by the diamond placed inside the Capitolio building in Havana, Cuba, beneath the central dome. This diamond was placed to mark "Kilometer Zero', the starting point of Cuba's Central Highway.

The pendant was designed by Marek Chmiel of Provenance Gems LLC and created in Miami by Jonathan Reyes, a leading Miami goldsmith born in Havana.

The central gemstone is Zultanite. Zultanite is a rare and recently discovered color changing gemstone from Turkey. Zultanite has proved to be an interesting and inspired choice for this pendant. Zultanite was in fact used in the inaugural fine jewelry created in 2016 by Provenance Gems for the boutique of the Carnival Fathom, the first cruise ship to sail to Havana from Miami since the revolution.
